His only argument yesterday was that everyone was useless. And on top of that, he made Monoceros hide their clue, despite saying the other day how it was selfish or whatever to want people to reveal it.
That, and Almaz isn't acting any differently from normal.
Something Veiled said to Aeris, when she asked. That if we don't get one of the infected ones out tonight, the uninfected lose. Even though tomorrow we'll have-- we would've had six teams left.
...I think we all just assumed that a clue with two teams meant one of them had to be it, even though she never actually said it was the case.
They had to infect someone new last night, right? So any certainty of 'one between Cygnus, Orion and Monoceros' is out the window.
And if they both went up to vote today, which was always gonna be the most likely since Cygnus wasn't it, even if one of them got ousted the other would be left behind. And most people might think they had to be uninfected.
And Badger and Almaz and Sulu arguing with each other would just add to the impression it had to be one or the other, right?
But . . . let's say you're right. No matter what, one of them has to go out. Orion is looking the most likely, so we should focus on him, shouldn't we? And then keep an eye on Monoceros to see if they start acting weird.
I hate to say it, but... I agree with Sulu a little, that Monoceros keeping quiet could be taken as weird. Because I don't think Almaz would wanna have to keep lying to people more than he had to, so laying low would be the best tactic for him.
I'd probably do the same if I were the infected, I think.
I get that, and it makes sense, but both of them laying low? Especially at a time like this? It's only drawing more attention to them. And not being as active as they were is suspicious too, so why would they do something like that? Anyone would pick out that something's up, right?
If you think about it another way, acting in a way that's too suspicious is a way to make people think they're not suspicious, right? "They wouldn't be dumb enough to do something so obvious, so it can't be on purpose."
Plus just letting Sulu talk as he does all the time and keeping quiet themselves is enough to make most people focus on Orion, instead.
He's consistent, which draws attention away from him too. And his argument is valid, I can understand his points and he answers everything really thoroughly . . .
I'm not moving my vote, but I want you to know that - what's his name, Sulu? Has valid points. Monoceros isn't . . . giving me anything that's in their favor. Telling me it's not them and that Sulu's wrong isn't enough.

And now she's saying something about not depending on your fellows.
Re: [ Day 4 - Ousting ]
Date: 2009-12-04 06:31 am (UTC)There's only four of us, now. And with one infected or two among the four, every one could make a lot of difference.
