I know it was Canis. But you're assuming they were the first ones infected, and I think they were the second. ...what do you mean by Cygnus hasn't been off?
Aeris and Cloud are close, though, so... she'd be wanting to protect Cygnus more than the rest.
I think Monoceros is clean, because Canis was one of the infections. For the reasons you've said-- if it started on Canis, Orion'd be a much better choice, and if it started on Monoceros, they'd have picked Orion for the second infection so they'd have a chance to win together. Since infected teams win collectively even if some of them get ousted.
