As you can tell by the gigantolinks post and the post itself and how I spent one Wednesday to the nest Tuesday pretty much attached to my laptop by the wrists....

SO MUCH. It was admittedly incredibly tiring since my general thread cruising speed is MOLASSES so I had to literally kick myself into comment overdrive, but everyone was just hella fun to bounce off of and throw stuff at and ROLL WITH that the time and the pacing just flew. And with Ash as my PARTNERRRR I could manage and we both got a hella lot done I feel |<b BEST PARTNER. HOW ABOUT YOU, how did you find raptorgeddon. How did ED.

It was really a lot of fun to play in, and to read all the threads (I should check them one more time soonish to pick up the ones that weren't quite done the last time I read) and see all the interesting twists and fun stuff that happened. Awesome event, would get mauled again. :Db

Were there any of the threads you went into with a plan or idea of how it would go down, or did you 100% improvise everything?

Lessee, as far as plans go, me and Ash decided on some rough outlines/ideas before we went in (like 'we have these creatures to choose from for threads!!' and 'here are some generic tactics'), but otherwise it was a whole lot of improv. Because players are amazingly unpredictable, we didn't limit them with a path the thread should go, just come up with a roughly manageable scenario for them to react to :|b I think the only threads I went into with a more solid idea on what to nudge towards was Kururu's, and that because it was a scenario already vaguely tossed around beforehand... the Ophiuchus post threads were also a bit more planned than the rest since it was basically wrapup.

You know, I'd almost finished the reply to this, and then my laptop died. :(

....it's hard to pick a few, he's been here ages and there've been SO MANY. L-lessee:

- the very first death-- Red's at the first Game they knew
- repeatedly refusing to play Trickster's Beauty-hijack voting killgame and then subsequent emotional collapse when Red didn't come back, Allen yelling at him after and them having a shounen vows moment
- punching Red in the face for trying to pull him away from the Pillar the first time it was discovered, and subsequent events
- HYDRATION, or, that time everyone on Cepheus except him ate Lucky's trippy mushroom pie
- the titleswaps game he spent keeping Red and Syaoran from trolling everybody/get into trouble
- being confronted by Allen in the first Storyteller Cry Wolf and forcing Allen to kill him
- the first very long conversation with Feathers
- the second very long conversation with Feathers
- being the only idiot wannabe hero in the room during King's zombie homecoming Game
- MANY MORE

Stupid laptops. o9" Those sound like AWESOME things though.

The biggest thing I love is that he's a character that's just very easy for me to play, I don't have to carefully craft and think about his answers, I just go. I love just how much he's changed since he got here, and all the changes he's been through, too. (There's an essay there, it won't get written until next month after my mini-move though.) I love that he's not quite a template shounen character and can actually take damage (he lands in the hospital surprisingly often in canon |D), which lets me play with those sort of things more often. I love that, without all his canon issues in play, he was able to solidly connect with a few people, and that's still affecting how he deals with new people (even though he's not quite as open to them as he was to start). And I love the unexpected things with him, too, how he has a "little sister" and how he fell in love, that kind of stuff. Gosh, there's really a lot... sorry for the tl;dr.

So the people I'm moving in with have an extra copy of the first Star Ocean, should I dust off a memory card and play it?
