[The Library (in caps, to distinguish it from that other library) is, as always, a busy place. Books of every size, shape, and color have been stacked to the ceiling, while paperwork has been filed in refiled in an arcane system that only really makes sense to Librarian and his owls.
And boy are there a lot of owls in here. Big old things that perch sleepily on the bookcases, only opening their eyes to watch a bit of incoming paperwork. Medium sized ones that rifle through the filing system. And clusters of tiny owlthings that are absolutely everywhere. Bustling to and fro with papers clutched in their mouths, squabbling over perches, falling asleep in fluffy piles...
Claude has been assigned to a long table in the middle of all this owlery. He has mostly been asked to sort through paperwork (most of it arcane and incomprehensible), with the occasional request to get up and reorganize the books. ... he also has the unofficial job of owl perch. Tiny owls cluster all over him, sleeping and squabbling and otherwise getting in the way.]
* hands and fingers flipping through yet another freshly compiled stack of paperwork; the only body parts moving more than half an inch, given just about every perch-on-able surface from the wrists up appears to be COVERED IN BIRDS *
[explosion of owls! some of them take to the air, flapping and hooting. a couple fall off the table. and several more end up in Claude's lap. feathers go everywhere.]
If you look at it before you are safely within your dorm, it will become blank. Similarly, if you ever look at it outside of your dorm, it will erase itself.
The same requirements apply to your team, although they are free to view it within the dorm. And as this information is highly privileged, you may not share it unless a trade has been made.
It is. If you disobey any of these rules, you will forfeit the scroll. And if you disobey the rules flagrantly enough, I will remove the information from your mind as well. Fair?
