CLAUDE'S ROOM, DAY 117 MORNING
Based on the room as located in this draft.
Things that are noticably not in the room anymore:
- Claude's sword.
- Claude's knife.
- Both makeshift Cepheus headbands and his pre-Sabra bandanna.
- Message tube.
- Rabi-dog.
- His share of the photos from the Persona game.
- Papers previously stashed under the mattress.
Things that are still in the room:
- By the doorway: A battered, patched-up, hand-stitched leather packsack (more sack than pack) with rope ties. Still half-full of well-used woodworking and stonecutting tools, unshaped hunks of flint and wood, and wadded dirty rags.
- By the empty wall: Four blocks of iron(?). A wooden crossbow and one dozen metal bolts in a tied bundle beside it, along with a half-finished shaft for a thirteenth. A couple of hand trowels and hoes leaning against the wall. A coil of vine rope. A pile of flints and partially-carved wood in the corner.
- In the lone shelf-nook on the empty wall: A couple of bone fishing hooks, bone needles, lengths of thread wound around sticks, small scraps of cloth and leather. A few dried leaves from plants beside the lake. Incongruously, a CD case propped up against the stone with a jar labeled Mustache Wax next to it.
- Standing in the nook formed by the head of the bed and the opposing wall; well-dried fatty lizard bones (four ribs and a thighbone), a short fishing spear, an obsidian-headed wooden handaxe, an assortment of the largest pieces of wood he's been able to glean from the firewood pile/scrounging in the caves.
- Under the bed: Nothing, though it looks like wood shavings have been swept under there from time to time.
The bed:
- Sheets and pillow are made up, for once.
- Bottom left leg: The blue ribbon he gained from the first Angel game (from the NPC!Feathers) is tied around the bedpost.
- Bottom right leg, facing the wall: Scratched out with a knife on the in-facing side, so you'd have to crawl under the bunk to read it, is [CLAUDE C. KENNI - GOLD/SLIM - CEPHEUS].
