I think... it's a little unfair to decide if something matters just because it's from 'before' or 'now', like they're two different lives altogether... because in the end, they're just sections of the same life, yeah? They're all just 'things you did'. So you've gotta look at each of them the same way, without that bias.
It's harder when it comes to stuff from 'before' since you don't have the whole picture, and all you've got is fragmented memories, which can be pretty misleading sometimes. But the exact moments from those fragments-- they're just as real to me as the memories I've made in this place.
